KB-000393: I changed the template in my OnCue project but the change is not reflected in my project when viewing. I still see the old template. How do I fix this?

There is a known issue, which is not easily reproducible, whereby the template output file in an OnCue project is not overwritten during a conversion. This only happens with existing projects and will only be noticeable if you change the OnCue template source asset in your OnCue project.

The problem happens when there is already an OnCue template file in an existing OnCue project. The software is not replacing the OnCue template file in the project with each new conversion.

There are three workaround options:

1- Copy the asset template file (e.g. std778-240menu050512.imp) into your OnCue project folder. Rename the original project template file  (e.g. "project-template.imp") to something like "project-template-BAK.imp" and then rename the asset template file (e.g. std778-240menu050512.imp) with the name your original project template file had (e.g. "project-template.imp").

2- Delete the original project template file from the project folder and reimpaticize your project. A new project template file will be written during the conversion process because there is no project template file present.

3- Rename the original project template file in the project folder and reimpaticize your project. A new project template file will be written during the conversion process because a properly named project template file is not present.

This issue has been reported to our Development team in bug 2545 and will be fixed in a future release of OnCue.
