KB-000304: Intermittently, I get a "Cannot Open - Access Denied" error when viewing impaticized content. Why is this happening all of a sudden?

This issue was recently brought to our attention. All of a sudden a client started getting this error upon initial viewing of an applet:

The problem was resolved by clearing the cache of the Java plug-in via the Java entry in the Windows Control Panel.

Click on the Start button and select Control Panel
Find Java in the Control Panel and double-click it
On the General tab find the View button in the Temporary Internet Files frame
In the resulting Java Cache Viewer dialog box select all of the files (click on the first one and then push CTRL and A on your key board)
Click the Delete button to delete all of the content.
Click the Close button and then the OK button

Now close the browser and launch it again.
Test the link.
