KB-000172: After installing the Impatica for BES software, the buttons on the Status tab of the Administration Utility are disabled and the services are not listed in the services applet. What has happened?

This would occur if the installer fails to create the services needed to convert the presentations. To create the services manually:
  1. Open a command prompt window and navigate to C:\Program Files\ImpaticaForBES\bin ;
  2. Type installconversionmanager to install the conversion manager service;
  3. Type installimpconverter 2 to install 2 converter services;
  4. You can then verify these services have been installed via the Services console.
